【明報專訊】ABOUT the de facto referendum strategy, the Democratic Party differs with the League of Social Democrats (LSD) and the Civic Party. Their conflicts have yet to be resolved, but some pro-democracy members of the Election Committee have resigned or contemplated resignation. There seems to be an atmosphere in which democrats tend to pull out of the establishment. The pan-democrats now have a crucial minority to be reckoned with in the undemocratic political system. It is what they have won with great difficulty over the past twenty-odd years. They must not lightly resign or pull out. What they ought to do now is to remain in the establishment and work with those outside it to push democratisation forward.
