【明報專訊】Last Thursday, Hong Kongers bade farewell to the city's last anti-establishment newspaper, Apple Daily. With its assets frozen by the government, the paper was unable to maintain its daily operations, and hence decided to close down at short notice. As the five printing presses completed their final spin, a million copies of the paper's last edition with a 12-page farewell letter made their way to anxious readers queuing at newspaper stands around the city.
