【明報專訊】THE fire of violence is burning increasingly fiercely. The death of Chow Tsz-lok, an HKUST student, has further exacerbated the situation. Violence distorts the mind. More than five months into the anti-amendment storm, the city cannot rely on the police force solely to "stop violence and curb disorder". For calm and rationality to return to society, it is also necessary for the government to take more action by, for example, setting up an independent commission of inquiry to alleviate the political antagonism.
