【明報專訊】Growing up, I have never liked package tours. Nothing offsets the joy of visiting a new place more than being confined on a tour bus witnessing the interesting local street life slipping away right under your nose. Instead of mundane group lunch, I would much rather venture into local delicacies scattered around the city. Tour guides always murmured to me their stories, making me sleep on the long bus rides. In short, I couldn't help to conclude that the best part must be outside of the tour itself.
