Idiom Magic : KICK OUT (OF) 把……踢出去;逐出;解僱
文章日期:2018年11月5日

【明報專訊】Kick out can mean a couple of things, and to start with, we thought you'd like to see a chick kicking its way out of a shell. That means to deliver blows using one's feet, with the objective of getting out of a place. Kick out can also mean to eject or dismiss(遣散)someone, such as kicking a worker out of his/her job or an unruly patron(行為不端的老顧客)out of a place of business. One thing is certain though: when the chick becomes a chicken, no one will want to kick it out of the soup pot!
