【明報專訊】Like most skills in life, driving comes at a different stage for everyone. While some display talent for becoming the next F1 champion early in life, many struggle to distinguish between a handbrake and a gear stick. Road trips in one's teens are therefore, a luxury, or rather, a sign of victory among wanderlusters all scrambling for their peer drivers. The driver was crowned the new leader of the group back then, taking charge of the route of the trip as well. To many non-drivers like me, nothing mattered more than the trip materialising. Everything else, including the destination, seemed secondary.
