【明報專訊】HKEX released its New Board concept paper two months ago with a view to consulting the public. The consultation closes by the middle of this month. Few think it is necessary to set up a new board to accommodate weighted voting rights (WVR) structures. Many believe it is all right to allow them to get listed on the main board and the most important thing to do is to make sure that investors can tell them from other sorts of companies.
