However, twenty years after the handover, new and emerging business heavyweights are still a rarity in Hong Kong. As the ten richest persons are still the old faces that had already made their names before the handover, the newer generation has failed to take up the baton from the older generation, which reflects a predicament facing Hong Kong's development and the death of entrepreneurship.
