【明報專訊】THE HOUSING SOCIETY, at the invitation of the government, is to explore the possibility of putting up public housing on the periphery of country parks. Two pilot sites have been chosen — Tai Lam Country Park in Yuen Long and Ma On Shan Country Park near Shui Chuen O Estate, Shatin, which altogether cover an area of more than 40 hectares. The Housing Society will commission a consultancy to write a report before the end of this year, which will then be submitted to the government.
