【明報專訊】THE HONG KONG INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENT became an issue of concern during the "two sessions" — the National People's Congress and the Political Consultative Conference. Li Keqiang, the Chinese Premier, said in his Report on the Work of the Government that "the Hong Kong independence movement will only lead to a blind alley". Zhang Dejiang, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, also mentioned in his report published yesterday the controversy over the Legco oath-takings last year and the Standing Committee's interpretation of the Basic Law, giving a summary of the campaign against the independence movement at this stage.
