【明報專訊】After writing this weekly column for two years, I was incredibly stuck. To tell the truth, I could not pretend to share the excitement of a first-time visitor. Hong Kong's skyline is nothing new. Its food, in my opinion, is going downhill while its rent has no ceiling. Its blind can-do spirit halts critical discussions and its excessive energy keeps me awake at night. The many glamorous events Hong Kong offer do little to hide its absurd social and political reality, and none of the wannabe leaders look capable to initiate a change.
