【明報專訊】IN the judicial review (JR) case concerning Sixtus Leung's oath-taking and Yau Wai-ching's, High Court Judge Thomas Au yesterday found for the government. Thereupon the two were disqualified. It seems clear from his ruling that the judge did not disregard the "Basic Law interpretation (BLI)" in question, and, to dispose of the case, it would have been sufficient to apply local laws in the common-law spirit.
