【明報專訊】THE latest findings from the CUHK Centre for Communication and Public Opinion Survey show that "Hong Kong independence" is no longer an issue we can take a cavalier attitude to. It is, rather, something that calls for serious concern. The government has issued a new demand to candidates in the Legco elections to be held later this year, i.e. the signature of a declaration form. It is increasingly clear that the new demand is aimed at barring Hong Kong independence supporters from standing for election and denying them a platform for their views.
