【明報專訊】AT the Ceremonial Opening of the Legal Year 2016, Mr Geoffrey Ma Tao-li, Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal, delivered a speech in which he referred to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights as applied to Hong Kong through the Hong Kong Bill of Rights Ordinance, and said that in interpreting those rights "one must have regard to recognised international jurisprudence".
