【明報專訊】AS the end of the year is drawing near, two important meetings in Beijing, namely the Central Economic Work Conference and the enlarged meeting of the Central Military Commission (CMC), will be coming around soon. This year, the two meetings are deemed to be the meetings of planning for the "storming of fortifications". The enlarged meeting of the CMC, in particular, is about the "storming of fortifications" in aspects like national defence and the reform of the military forces, both of which have aroused a lot of concern.
