【明報專訊】PRESIDENT XI JINPING'S busy visits to other parts of the world have come to a close. As a rule, the Central Economic Work Conference (CEWC), an annual major event of the mainland's macro-economy, begins in the middle of this month. The Conference, which takes place every December, is a window through which one may get information with which to forecast the way the Chinese economy (the second largest in the world) will go next year. As the Chinese economy's impact on the global economy is growing with each passing day, the annual Conference has received greater and greater world attention.
