The City Wanderer : Hidden Agenda and the feline Frandé

【明報專訊】Development isn't necessarily evil, except that in our city, it almost equates to skyscrapers, a blocked-off sky, and furious rent that restricts access of the district to a selected few. Ever since the Kwun Tong redevelopment plan was announced, a few lobbying campaigns have been launched with little effect. The district is loomed with construction sites of different sorts, stirring an unsettling turmoil in the once humble industrial hub. Perhaps that's why the local indie music hideaway, Hidden Agenda, fits perfectly into the picture - a little seed of rebellion doesn't hurt. It being tucked away in an industrial building, its basic setting isn't for everyone. Attendees would expect to stand for three straight hours through a standard gig. However, they do not compromise on lights or acoustics at all. In case you need a small booze to swing along with the beats, beer is available at $20 a cup, which is quite reasonable.
