【明報專訊】Old Mrs Lam was a lonely widow. Her son visited her only on New Year's Day and her birthday. He was more interested in his job, his wife and children. Mrs Lam's daughter lived far away, and she preferred shopping and going out with other women of her own age. Mrs Lam's son and daughter rarely thought of their lonely mother! Of course, the lonely old Mrs Lam was always happy to talk to people and receive visitors, even strangers. She met good, kind people, but she also met another sort of person. They took Mrs Lam for an easy "touch" for money. Mrs Lam wasn't rich, but she wasn't poor either!
