【明報專訊】The renowned Taiwanese writer Lung Ying-tai has led a politically active life. Upon publishing her first collection of social-political criticism, The Wild Fire (《野火集》), in 1985, Lung established her role as a pro-right intellectual, fighting for social and legal advancements on different levels. A successful political writer, Lung is equally well known as a loving mother of two boys. She once invited her elder son, Andreas, on a letter-writing scheme to discuss issues that concerned the 18-year-old. The letters were subsequently published as a book.
