【明報專訊】THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE IN COUNCIL has made a decision on civil servants' pay rise this year. In an unusual departure from the net pay trend indicators (PTIs), the pay rise will be 0.5 percent higher than recommended, which will translate into around $900 million. The government has yet to explain why it has made such a special arrangement.
