【明報專訊】MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) has kept spreading in South Korea. After the government had observed the situation there for a week, the Security Bureau issued yesterday (July 9) a red outbound travel alert against the country to remind citizens they should not go there unless necessary. The Hong Kong authorities seem to have been indecisive - to have struggled to decide what to do. However, judging from the MERS situation in South Korea, it is largely right for them to have now issued the travel alert, albeit a little belatedly.
