The City Wanderer : Reliving Shakespeare at Cyberport
文章日期:2015年3月23日

【明報專訊】When William Shakespeare made Nick Bottom go through all the pains in A Midsummer Night's Dream, he probably would not have intended himself to be an object of the same sarcasm someday. Starring four amateur actors goofing around at a Shakespearean production, the touring original production Sorry, Shakespeare! has been winning empathy from modern-day audiences who do not necessarily relate to Shakespeare's well-intentioned jokes. The play will next share the stage with A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest and King Lear at the Shakespeare in the Port Festival, running from 16 April to 3 May. Language should be the least of your worries as organisers have made an effort to make the productions either bilingual or in body language.
