【明報專訊】The gutter oil (地溝油) scandal marks one of the darkest days in Hong Kong's food history. More than 500 bakeries, restaurants, retailers and distributors have been identified by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to have traded or used lard products supplied by Chang Guann (台灣強冠企業), the suspected producer of gutter oil. The list contains some of my beloved household brands, from stalls round the street corner to the poshest (最高檔的) restaurants in town, completely disrupting my eating habits.
