【明報專訊】IT has emerged that some of the substandard lard in the Taiwanese "gutter oil" scandal was made with raw materials from Hong Kong. The incident illustrates that, with enhanced connectedness of trade cooperation and sophistication of supply chains, the relationship between source materials and end products has become more and more complex, rendering quality supervision increasingly difficult.
