【明報專訊】A United Christian Hospital pathologist is found to have made errors in the pathology reports she issued independently soon after obtaining her specialist qualification. In a full review of her reports, senior pathologists at the hospital have found errors in around five percent of them. These errors vary in seriousness. But some of them have led to delayed treatment. As the matter is serious in nature, the hospital is to set up an investigation committee to establish the reasons behind the mistakes and whether the doctor neglected her duty.
