【明報專訊】Renoir (《雷諾瓦的繆思》), biopic of famous Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, has not been reviewed favourably by critics. For movie-goers who expect a lot of dramatic twists, the movie does appear to be slow and uneventful. The exquisitely shot motion picture, however, does offer a delicate study about Renoir's philosophy of art and his style, drawing us into a world of romance set in World War I.
