Tall buildings are everywhere, and there is the convenient metro. There are two places that I like most in Sao Paulo. One is the weekend market in Vila Mariana. There you can find many local designers' products. You can spend half a day there to find some small stuff for souvenirs. The other place is the Japantown located in Liberdade. More than 1 million Japanese live in Sao Paulo. It is easy to find a good Japanese restaurant there if you miss Asian food.
