【明報專訊】A SQUARE-SHAPED WELL dating from the Song or Yuan dynasty discovered near the site of To Kwa Wan station of Shatin to Central Link (SCL) is in archaeologists' opinion "absolutely rare" in southern China. The 239 archaeological sites and several thousand relics unearthed there have aroused attention because they are the most important archaeological discovery that has been made since the Lei Cheng Uk Tomb was discovered in 1955. The authorities must do everything they can to protect the sites and relics because the unearthing of them has everything to do with the reshaping of Hong Kong's history.
