【明報專訊】THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT has informed the SAR government that the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting of finance ministers, originally scheduled to be held in Hong Kong in September, will be moved to Beijing. According to the SAR government, the central government's written notice says the change was made because of logistical concerns. However, politicians, both pro-establishment and pan-democratic, and academics generally see the change as related to the political reform issue and protest movements like "Occupy Central".
