名人小故事﹕I have a dream 偉大演說

【明報專訊】Requests came from all over America for Martin Luther King Jr to speak. He addressed thousands of people in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Detroit. At the time, President John F Kennedy was about to introduce major civil rights legislation (立法). It would outlaw segregation on interstate (州際) transportation. It would also force school integration (種族融合). King believed this law would be of great benefit to black people. In fact, it would be beneficial to all Americans who wanted to live in a more just society. But a dramatic event was needed to bring the need for this law to America.
