Based on Scott Thorson's book of the same title, the movie unveils the secret relationship between Thorson and Liberace - probably the world's most flamboyant piano player. Prying into Liberace's private life, however, isn't the purpose of Steven Soderberg. Instead, the director has crafted the showbiz pianist as a man of flesh and blood.
