【明報專訊】TIMOTHY TONG HIN-MING overspent on entertainment activities when he was ICAC Commissioner. He conveniently turned some of his business trips into his leisure time, went sightseeing and had much fun. All this could not have happened but for some ICAC officers' help. Now it has become known, thanks to the reports by the Audit Commission and an independent review committee chaired by Chow Chung-kong, as well as her own testimony before the Legco Public Accounts Committee (PAC), that it was Julie Mu Fee-man, the ICAC's Director of Community Relations, who handled Timothy Tong's booze bills (which were split in an attempt to circumvent the limit on entertainment expenses). She also planned her former boss's pleasure-packed itineraries.
