【明報專訊】THE PAY TREND SURVEY COMMITTEE has announced the latest gross pay trend indicators. If the government determines civil service pay rises according to them, the percentage increases will be lower than inflation (4.5%). A number of civil service unions have expressed their disappointment. A staff representative on the Disciplined Services Consultative Council has even said many members of the disciplined services harbour such resentment that they are contemplating drastic moves like staging marches and demonstrations.
