【明報專訊】THE Moral and National Education subject will have far-reaching effects on society. Yesterday, the Executive Council and Editorial Board of the Hong Kong Institute of Education Students' Union published in Ming Pao their position paper titled "Moral Education out of Balance with Hong Kong's Education System", in which they discuss the very real worries arising from the subject. Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying also published in newspapers yesterday an article saying that "discussions on the relevant questions and other political questions must be based on facts". We would like to draw Leung's attention to the facts set out in the position paper and the arguments put forward, which provide a rational and practical framework for discussions on the National Education subject. Would the government respond to the paper?
