Leung Should Seek Contact with His Critics
梁振英應深入虎穴 主動接觸反對者

【明報專訊】LEUNG Chun-ying and his cabinet members yesterday visited several districts to meet the public. While arrangements for such meetings have improved compared with what we saw last week, there are still lots of problems. For instance, a host of elderly people arrived early in the morning yesterday to occupy the seats of the meetings, so that a number of those opposed to the government were unable to get in; and about 15 minutes after the commencement of the meetings, some attendees began to leave, but those outside were still refused entry. This to a great extent defeated the purpose of the district meetings. If Leung's government really wants to listen to the public and not to put on a public relations show, practical steps should be taken to ensure that the meetings are properly arranged.
