【明報專訊】THE GOVERNMENT has sought to have the Copyright Ordinance amended with a view to ensuring that it will endure the test of rapid advances in technology so that we need not change the law every time new communication technology emerges. It has repeatedly stressed that the amendment is not directed at parody and that parody disseminated on the Internet that does not attract criminal liability now will not do so under the Copyright (Amendment) Bill.
