【明報專訊】Halloween過了不久，那天晚上很多人穿上奇裝異服，扮鬼扮馬。有人問我這些打扮應該用什麼英文字形容呢？Cosplay（不是樂隊Coldplay）的意思就是穿上服飾去參加聚會。Cosplay由costume和play組成，dress up and pretend to be a fictional character。

Halloween當晚我沒有成為cosplayer（穿上服飾的人）。Cosplay crush是愛上了一個cosplayer。例句︰Victor has a cosplay crush on Julia because she dressed up as Taylor Swift, a popular singer-song writer, at a convention.

Cosplay fishing是扮某角色去吸引異性。有些日本女孩子常常穿上服飾去扮某角色，日子久了，她們患上奇裝異服人格分裂（cosplay personality disorder），行為受所扮的角色影響。舉例說，若我常常扮超人（superman），我的思想和行為會受超人影響，愛「抱打不平」。
