【明報專訊】THE BROADCASTING AUTHORITY has assessed the domestic free television programme service licence applications from City Telecom, iCable and PCCW and will announce its decisions this month the soonest. Ricky Wong of City Telecom has said he has managed to lure away from TVB some scriptwriters, directors and producers responsible for some of its trump-card series. He has also revealed his company plans to spend $1 million on a drama episode (twice as TVB does) and will try to entice actors and actresses away from TVB.
