【明報專訊】YESTERDAY Wang Guangya (who became Director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office (HKMAO) a few months ago) began his three-day visit here. He has met the Chief Executive (CE) and his principal officials. He will visit the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the stock exchange and some community facilities and attend a luncheon and a youth forum. Those who have been invited to the luncheon include members of the Executive Council, the President of the Legislative Council (Legco), Legco committee chairpersons and Legco panel chairpersons and deputy chairpersons. Over forty Legco members have been invited, and two of them belong to the pan-democratic camp - Emily Lau (who chairs the Finance Committee) and Wong Yuk-man (who chairs the Panel on Information Technology and Broadcasting). However, Mr Wang will not meet the Legco members en masse.
