【明報專訊】Hospitals in Hong Kong are either private or managed by the Hospital Authority (HA, 醫院管理局), which was established in 1990. Long before the HA came into being, many hospitals had been in operation. One of them is Sai Ying Pun Jockey Club Polyclinic (formerly called Government Civic Hospital). Established in 1874, it is the territory's first non-military western hospital.
