【明報專訊】According to George Orwell the English "will refuse even to sample a foreign dish; they regard such things as garlic and olive oil with disgust; life is unliveable to them unless they have tea and puddings". Orwell's most famous work is the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. He was an essayist and social commentator who wrote about the living conditions of the poorest members of society.
