【明報專訊】PUBLIC TRANSPORT fares have kept going up, adding to citizens' financial burdens and fuelling inflation. The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) has proposed that the government set up a fund to stabilise public transport fares. Other parties have talked about this issue. Some have suggested that the government minimise the impact of MTR fare increases by using the dividends it receives from the MTR Corp to set up a fund to stabilise MTR fares.
