【明報專訊】THE initial statutory minimum wage (SMW) rate comes into force on May 1. Yesterday the Employers' Federation of Hong Kong ran an ad to dispel its members' doubts. The ad points out no statutory provision says meal hours or days off should be paid. Though it has angered unionists, what it says is basically a fact.
