【明報專訊】Not everyone knows this but Potosí (波托西) is a UNESCO (聯合國教科文組織) world heritage site and the highest city in the world-well, this depends on who is telling you. At 4,090 metres, it lies beneath Cerro Rico, otherwise known as the "rich mountain" due to its abundant silver ore (礦). This mountain was nothing less than influential and contributed tremendously towards the history that was to shape Potosí.
