【明報專訊】100 years ago, Sun Yat-sen and a group of patriots revolted against the Qing Dynasty. The revolution ended the long-lasting monarchy and started China's democratisation. He is honoured as the Father of the Nation (國父) by many. In 1923, Dr Sun made a speech at the University of Hong Kong. In it he pointed out his revolutionary ideas had originated in Hong Kong.
