【明報專訊】THE PUBLIC OPINION PROGRAMME at the University of Hong Kong conducts an annual survey about what kind of society citizens wish Hong Kong to be. In the past, most respondents wished it to be a prosperous society. In this year's survey, "prosperity" came third after "fairness" and "freedom from corruption". These qualities are Hong Kong people's core values. The outcome of the survey shows citizens believe Hong Kong has developed problems and they are worried that their core values may be threatened.
