【明報專訊】THE LABOUR DEPARTMENT has drawn up a set of guidelines on the minimum wage law for employers' reference. The document includes thirty-odd practical situations where employers should pay or need not pay their workers. Conscionable employees' workers would not suffer even if no such guidelines existed. Unscrupulous employers' will be at a disadvantage however exhaustive such guidelines may be, for they are not legally binding.
