【明報專訊】Flowers (《戀戀凡花》), a Japanese movie now showing, reminds me of Volver (《浮花》), a Spanish movie directed by Pedro Almodóvar, and Mother and Child (《愛在你左右》), an American movie directed by Rodrigo García. All of the three give a sensitive portrayal of women and the hard life upon the women's shoulders. This latest Japanese drama should offer moviegoers an unforgettable viewing experience, though the other two western productions, with much stronger plots, might have left viewers more engrossed and immersed.
