【明報專訊】LAST Monday Filipino President Benigno Aquino released the report on the botched hostage rescue. The report lists the causes of the failure of the operation and points out some officials' failures. The enquiry was carried out quite meticulously. However, Aquino has let off all police officers and officials involved in the incident. None will be prosecuted. The report is extremely casual about where the blame lies. It is very disappointing indeed.
