【明報專訊】A Japanese group has acquired land in Hoi Ha Wan, Sai Kung. It plans to build a cluster of villas there. This project is similar to a tycoon's plan to develop a site in Tai Long Sai Wan. It is a worry that construction works may mar the beautiful natural scenery there. The Environment Bureau has declared that the government is considering whether to protect pockets of land adjoining or enfolded by country parks by extending those parks or by taking other measures. That shows the government may intend to end the problem once and for all.
